The Adult Care Unit is a 31-bed general medical, surgical unit that provides nursing care 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. The staff includes 21 Registered Nurses, 3 Practical Nurses, 15 Nursing Assistants, and 5 Medical Clerks. Nurses on the Adult Care Unit staff collaborate with the Learning to Live Sober program, the Navajo Department of Behavioral Health, Family Harmony, Physical Therapy, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Reach for Recovery, Case Management, Mental Health, the diabetes educator, and Community Health Nursing to accomplish effective patient care processes.
