The Infusion Therapy Suite is a newly formed department dealing with outpatient parenteral therapy. Patients are seen on an outpatient basis for long-term infusion therapy generally lasting two to six weeks. Receiving IV therapy on an outpatient basis allows patients to be discharged from the hospital and resume a normal lifestyle while continuing to receive required therapy to treat his/her disease process.
