Celebrating 1-Year of OB-GYN Services at SPHC

Flagstaff, AZ – On, May 12, the Sacred Peaks Health Center, located at 3480 E. Route 66, celebrated 1-year of Obstetric Care and Maternity Services serving American Indian women of Flagstaff and surrounding areas.

Sacred Peaks Health Center continues to expand to meet the growing needs of the community by providing a full range of OB-GYN services such as routine exams, Obstetric services, gynecology, colposcopy, family planning and contraceptive management, hysterectomy, infertility services, and menopause symptoms, and diagnostic imaging.

“As we celebrate this important milestone for the Sacred Peaks Health Center, we want to reinforce our commitment to provide quality healthcare and to focus on serving the whole woman – in all stages of life,” said Dr. Jennifer Whitehair, OB-GYN physician at Sacred Peaks Health Center.

Staffed Monday through Friday from 8 to 5 pm by OB/GYN physicians, nurses and medical assistants, the Sacred Peaks Health Center provide services with a goal integrating the resources required for the many facets of diagnosis, treatment and aftercare – all in one convenient location.

“For our patients who live here in Flagstaff, not have to make a trip to Tuba City for a routine exam for expecting mothers, it makes a huge difference in their lives. Sacred Peaks Health Center allows Native American women and expecting mothers not take a whole afternoon from work to go to their OB appointments,” Dr. Kathleen Harner, OB-GYN physician at Sacred Peaks Health Center. “Our goal remains to be a premier provider of health services for women – from the newly expecting moms to the woman in her senior years simply wanting to be healthy and have access to care.”

Since 2010, Sacred Peaks Health Center has provided with greater ease of access to healthcare for Native American families and students living in Flagstaff, Arizona. SPHC and integrates the resources required for the many facets of diagnosis, treatment and aftercare – all in one convenient location. SPHC provide quality medical, pediatric, basic laboratory, basic imaging services, physical therapy, pharmacy and some specialty services to all Federally Recognized American Indian members of our community.
