Registration Process

To Register

  • Scan the QR code, OR
  • Register online here

2.

One-time registration. Each participant will need to register, including youth.

  • Children 17 years & younger will need to be registered by Parent/Guardian.

3.

Onsite registration will be available at all hiking locations:

Check-in for all hiking locations will begin at 7:00am (DST), hikes will begin promptly at 7:30am (DST) unless stated otherwise. *OPEN TO ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS

Participation

Complete online registration.
  • All participants must complete registration this includes youth under the age of 17-yo who must be registered by a parent/guardian who is also attending the event.
  • Online registration will be open until 2:00pm on Friday before the hiking event takes place.
  • Onsite registration will be available at all hiking locations if you did not register online.

Select which locations you will be attending for the hiking series.
  • Some hikes indicate parking fees at the trailhead and a separate registration process for the Climb to Conquer Cancer event (more details will be provided for this event for those interested in participating in this good cause).

At trailhead, each participant is required to:
  • Check in with HPDP staff before the start of the event. If you do not check-in your attendance will not count towards the hiking series.

Transportation

  • Transportation will not be provided by the Health Promotion Disease Prevention Program. Participants must drive in their own vehicles to each hiking location.
  • Participants are responsible for any park and/or parking fees.

Fitness

  • Must have fair physical fitness and lower body strength.
  • Please review the hiking information sheet for each location. Hikes range from easy, moderate, and hard/ strenuous.

Incentives

  • Participants will receive their incentive at the conclusion of the hiking series.
  • Incentive items will vary depending on how many hikes participants complete.
