TUBA CITY – The Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation (TCRHCC) is calling on artists from the Western Navajo Agency to submit their artwork for display in the soon-to-be-completed Echo Cliffs Health Center in Bodaway/Gap, Arizona.
This two-story, 124,134 sq. ft. facility is set to open in late fall 2025, providing comprehensive healthcare services to the Navajo, Hopi, and San Juan Paiute communities. As part of its mission to reflect the vibrant culture and identity of the region, the center seeks artwork that embodies local traditions, stories, and the beauty of the surrounding lands.
“This is an incredible opportunity for local artists to showcase their talent and be part of a space that serves and uplifts our community,” said Chief Operations Officer Julius Young II. “The artwork will enhance the facility’s environment, offering comfort and inspiration to patients, staff, and visitors.”
The Echo Cliffs Health Center is designed to address a critical healthcare shortage in the area, bridging the gap for residents who have had to travel 35 miles to Tuba City for services. Since 2018, the Bodaway/Gap community has been served only by a limited part-time clinic housed in a mobile unit.
The state-of-the-art health center will feature outpatient services, including dental, eye care, wellness programs, primary care, mental health services, physical therapy, podiatry, and pharmacy services. It will also house Navajo Nation programs such as Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), diabetes prevention, behavioral health, and health education.
Call for Artists: Submission Guidelines
Artwork must be original and created entirely by the artist. It will be judged based on its artistic merit, creativity, and alignment with the mission of the Echo Cliffs Health Center. Submissions can include various subjects such as landscapes, portraits, or still lifes, as long as the theme is consistent with the center’s vision.

Artists whose work is chosen must complete a purchase, donation, or loan agreement with TCRHCC.
