TCRHCC Experiencing a Nationwide IT Outage

Tuba City, Ariz. – Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation (TCRHCC) has been affected by the nationwide IT outage related to the Microsoft Windows Operating Systems issue.

Due to this outage, various service lines have been impacted. Some of the morning appointments for Friday, July 19, may be rescheduled for the following areas: Tuba City Regional Health Care, Sacred Peaks Health Center, LeChee Health Center, and the Mobile Health Units. We will do our best to reach out to you directly for any rescheduling of appointments.

Impact on services:

During this downtime period, there may be disruptions in several areas:

  1. Patient Care: TCRHCC Outpatient Clinics, Sacred Peaks Health Center, LeChee Health Center, and Mobile Health Units will be rescheduling morning appointments. If you have an emergency, our Emergency Department is available. Due to the outage, we will be experiencing some delays.
  2. Communication: TCRHCC Switchboard number is (866) 976-5941. Currently, we are unable to verify appointments.
  3. Appointment Scheduling: Our ability to schedule and manage appointments may be limited.
  4. Access to Medical Records: Access to patient medical records is currently limited.
  5. Prescriptions/Medication: Electronic prescribing is currently unavailable. Refilling prescriptions has limited availability.

What we are doing:

  1. Emergency Response: Our IT and medical teams are working diligently to restore data access to our systems.
  2. Contingency Plans: Backup manual procedures are in place to ensure continued care for patients with critical medical needs.

“As a result, our ability to access critical information necessary for patient care is limited,” said Joette Walters, CEO. “We anticipate some delays and cancellations throughout the day. Ensuring your safety and providing the highest quality care is our top priority.”

We understand the impact this may have on your healthcare experience, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. We will be posting updates as they become available.
