Kiosks offer Narcan, a nasal spray used to reverse opioid overdose. Because drugs may be mixed, it is safe to give Narcan if an overdose is suspected. Fentanyl/xylazine test strips reduce overdose risks.

  • Narcan Spray:
    1. Lay the person on their back.
    2. Tilt head back.
    3. Insert nozzle into one nostril and press plunger firmly.
    4. Call emergency services 928-283-3111 after first dose.
    5. Repeat every 2-3 minutes, if needed.

Each Narcan spray holds only one dose. Avoid doing a test spray.

  • Test Strips:
    1. Put small amount of drug in clean container.
    2. Mix with water.
    3. Place wavy end of test strip down in water for 15 seconds.
    4. Take out and wait 3-5 minutes.
