Construction Announcement for Tuba City Regional Health Care Emergency Department
TUBA CITY — Beginning July 22, the Tuba City Regional Health Care Emergency Department will undergo remodeling and upgrades to improve service delivery.
Construction Schedule:
- Phase One: July 20 to September 19, 2024
- Phase Two: September 20 to November 1, 2024
Affected Areas:
- Several areas, including nine beds, the Nurses Station, Providers Area, and half of the hallway between ED North and South, will be closed during Phase One.
- The west section of the former Emergency Department
“Due to the closure of nine beds, we anticipate an influx of patients in our waiting room,” said TCRHCC Director of Emergency Services Olivia Rose. “During this period, we anticipate longer wait times for emergency services. We understand this may cause inconvenience and sincerely apologize for any disruption.”
“We are dedicated to providing the best possible care and facilities for our patients. As part of this commitment, the west section of the former Emergency Department will be temporarily closed for remodeling and upgrades,” she said.
The project is expected to be completed in early November.
