Update: Water Contamination Incident at TCRHCC

Update – 4:30 PM DST

Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation (TCRHCC) continues to keep the water lines in the Main Hospital building turned off for both staff and public use until further notice.

TCRHCC Facilities Management continue to work with contractors to repair the affected piping and is awaiting official results from water testing companies. These results will help confirm when the water in the Main Hospital building is safe to use again.

TCRHCC remains committed to the health and safety of our patients, staff, and visitors. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide timely updates as more information becomes available.

Here is an update list of services and clinics for Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

Services and Clinics CLOSED in the Main Hospital Building:

  • Audiology Clinic
  • Ears, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Clinic
  • Cafeteria (Closed to public)
  • Inpatient Services
  • Cardiopulmonary Clinic
  • Operating Room/Surgeries
  • Dental Clinic
  • Respiratory Clinic

Eye Clinic (Remains located in the Main Hospital Building

  • Eye Clinic is limiting services to eye glass pick-up only.

Clinics Temporary RELOCATED to the following locations:

Surgical, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry (SOUP Clinic)

  • Relocated in the Outpatient Primary Care Center (OPCC)
    – Fracture Clinic is located on the 1st Floor
    – Orthopedic & Podiatry are located on the 3rd Floor

Public Health Clinic

  • Relocated in the Mobile Unit, parked in Lot #1 – East of the Administration Building lot.

Ears, Nose, and Throat Clinic (ENT)

  • Temporarily relocated to Sacred Peaks Health Center, Flagstaff, AZ.
  • Address: 6300 US-89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004

Important Information for Patients and Visitors:

  • The Emergency Department remains open 24/7.
  • All bathrooms and drinking fountains in the Main Hospital Building are currently closed. However, alternative restrooms and drinking water are available in the three-story Outpatient Primary Care Center (OPCC).
  • Patients with scheduled appointments in the affected clinics will be contacted directly by clinic staff to reschedule appointments.
  • The water contamination is an isolated incident only affecting the TCRHCC Main Hospital building.
  • There is no estimate time when the Main Hospital building will re-open for Clinics
